With the Elfbar QR code, you can easily determine whether you've purchased an authentic Elfbar product or a counterfeit. Follow the steps below to identify fake Elfbar products.
- Use a coin or your fingernail to remove the grey protective layer on the CR code of your Elfbar packaging
- Scan the QR code now with your mobile phone
- You will now be redirected to the official Elfbar website
- Check if you were really redirected to elfbar.com and not to elfa.com or similar
- You will now be shown whether you have purchased an original Elfbar product.
How does the Elfbar QR code work?
Elfbar assigns each individual product a unique number. This number is sent to Elfbar as soon as you scan the QR code. Elfbar can then determine how many times the code has been scanned. Once the code has been scanned multiple times, the product is identified as counterfeit. This would be the case if someone repeatedly printed the same Elfbar verification code on counterfeit products. By doing this, Elfbar has been able to significantly reduce the number of counterfeit products on the market, and fake Elfbars have now become a rarity.
