Scope of delivery Elfbar Elfx Pro (CE)

In our review, we're focusing on the Elfbar Elfx Pro in the Classic Edition (CE) . The Standard Edition (SE) features a metal design instead of synthetic leather, but offers the same technical features. Included in the package are:

Commissioning

Setting up the Elfx Pro is explained in a few words. Unpack the device, remove the protective film, fill the desired pod with the e-liquid of your choice, wait 5 minutes, press the lower function button 5 times, and you can enjoy puffing on the mouthpiece.

Elfx Pro setting options

The Elfx Pro has a Function button (bottom) and a Burn button (top), which you can use to manually fire the coil instead of the automatic draw. We'll explain the setting options:

• Press once: Switch between turbo and normal mode
• Press twice: Setting the power (watts)
• Press 3 times: Lock, unlock the burn button
• Press 5 times: Turn the device on/off (child lock)
• Long press: Open menu (Here you can, for example, reset the puff counter)

Taste of the Elfx Pro Pod System

In our tests with the Elfx Pro, we used e-liquids from Elfbar, which are marketed under the name Elfliq . However, you can of course use any commercially available liquid. The built-in mesh coils render the flavor excellently, and you can expect an intense, well-balanced vaping experience.

How long do the Elfx Pods last?

One of the most important criteria for a good pod system is the longevity of the coils. There's nothing more annoying than a coil burning out after just two fills of liquid. And Elfbar has done a great job here. The Elfx coils are extremely durable and have sometimes lasted for weeks under intensive use.

With the new Elfx Pro model, Elfbar has done almost everything right, and the device performed excellently in our everyday tests. The maximum output of 40 watts cannot currently be fully utilized, as the corresponding 0.4 ohm pods are unfortunately not yet available on the market. This also raises the question of which liquids Elfbar intends to offer for such pods. The Elfliq liquid line is clearly designed for MTL vaping . The fact that the pods occasionally dispense liquid into the mouth is another negative point.
